About our coaches:
Mental Health Coaches are not psychiatrists or psychologists - we do not prescribe or de-prescribe medication, triage major episodes or work with severe mental health issues.
Instead, we bridge the gap between those experts, using a preventative approach and working with clients to provide tools
Mental Health Coaches enable clients to make lifestyle changes based on the latest science and health evidence, alongside behavioural support and practical lessons.
FLAX is a social enterprise under the umbrella of GLOW MHCE, a charitable trust supporting Mental Health Coaches to provide quality and professional education and support in NZ schools. All of our coaches are qualified professional Mental Health Coaches, accredited with HCANZA, follow ICF coaching guidelines & the NZ Privacy Act and are police-vetted if working one-on-one with children.
