Hope Pearce

Hope is an accredited Mental Health and Wellbeing Coach with a background as a registered Naturopath.

She is passionate about supporting the mental and emotional health of our tamariki, firmly believing that mental well-being is just as essential as physical health for their growth and success.

Hope loves supporting children and adults with their emotional and mental fitness, empowering them to become more resilient and more capable to navigate life's challenges. Her aim as a Mental Health Coach is to help individuals feel not only supported but also heard and valued, arming them with the tools they need to navigate life more effectively.

Hope has worked in the wellness space for nearly 18 years. As a Naturopath she has experience working with adults and children of all ages from birth to teenagers supporting them holistically with their health and wellbeing. She has prior experience working with teenagers experiencing stress, burnout and issues relating to hormone imbalances and can support teenagers and young adults in these areas.

Hope has a special interest in providing support to individuals who are experiencing feelings of stress, anxiety, lack of motivation, feeling stuck or a sense of lost direction. She has a compassionate caring approach and is happy to work with children of all ages, families and teachers meeting them where they are at and working together as a team to help them move forward.

Her approach to mental health and well-being is holistic, combining mental health coaching and behaviour change techniques, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, with elements like nutrition, movement, breathwork, and mindfulness tools.

As a registered naturopath Hope has experience supporting clients with their overall health and nutrition needs and has supported many clients with stress related health complaints, digestive and hormonal health issues, sleeping issues, allergies and more. Her experience in the health and wellness space has contributed to her drive to help people holistically. She is an advocate of the Te Whare Tapa Whā model of health that recognises that mental health, spiritual health, a sense of belonging, whānau and connections are an integral part of wellbeing just as much as physical health.

Being an adoptee herself, Hope brings a unique perspective to her work which fuels her determination to assist young individuals who may have experienced separation from their families for various reasons, she is able to work alongside other healthcare professionals if needed. She has a family member with special needs, and is comfortable working with children who have diverse requirements.
